5 Outfits That I Would Wear if We Weren't in Quarantine

Like most people, I have been cooped up at home in pretty much nothing but rotating sweatpants and t-shirts. So I don't know if this blog post was simply inspired by boredom or because it gives me hope that I can wear these looks to beach or brunch before fall comes around again.

Monday:

This is one of my favorite looks because it's classic, simple, and always looks good. I paired this look with white platform sneakers, but it could also work with sandals or platform wedges for a more dressed up look. I would probably wear this to a casual brunch or getting coffee with a friend. It is a comfortable look that can work with anything sundress you have in your closet. Since denim is so versatile, an oversized denim jacket will work with many different colors and fits.

Tuesday:

This was one of my most unexpected outfits that I put together on a whim because I was curious to see what it would would look like, and I have to say I love it. I think it's the perfect combination of elegant girly style with the chiffon sleeves and classic on trend fashion with high waister denim shorts and sneakers. This look can be recreated several different ways because puffy sleeves like this are really fashion right now and a similar shirt can be found in a lot of popular boutiques. Denim shorts are also a staple in most people's wardrobes for summer so take this as your cue to try out your shorts with a different kind of top. I would probably end up wearing this outfit for a shopping day or walking around the city. It could also work for a casual daytime get together with friends (once social distancing rules are lifted of course).

Wednesday:

This look incorporates one of my favorite things to do to make a spaghetti strap dress or top look like a completely new piece. Putting a plain t-shirt gives the dress a more fun and playful look. Adding an under layer helps give pieces in your closet a more casual vibe. This is really a versatile outfit that I would wear for almost every daytime occasion. Whether it's going to a restaurant or just running random errands, this is an easy to throw on outfit that is super cute and comfortable.

Thursday:

This is probably my most simple outfit for the week, but small details in your pieces can make a huge difference in making the overall outfit look more put together. Adding necklaces and rings to solid colored pieces like a white crop top makes the top look more intricate. I also love looking for jeans with a cool fit like these cropped flare jeans. I would wear this outfit when I'm walking around the city or anywhere where I want to be super comfortable.

Friday

This is most casual lounge outfit of the week, but what makes more unique and cute is adding the oversized baggy sweater. It's a super light material so you can still wear it during summer and not get hot. I also love pairing sandals with this look instead of flip flops because it makes it more appropriate to go out places. I would wear this look to hangout with my friends or even take a stroll on the beach. This is a perfect cover up to keep in your bag or in your car so you can throw it on if it ever gets chilly.
